How to Ship on Poshmark

We cannot stress enough how important it is to know how to ship on Poshmark! Especially because their methods make shipping one of the many benefits of using Poshmark. So here is how to ship on Poshmark, step by step:

Step 1: Check for Confirmation Email

When you make a sale, Poshmark will send you an email confirming the sale. This email also contains some crucial information, namely, the shipping label that is pre-paid and pre-addressed. This means that you do not need to purchase your own postage. This email will also include any other instructions.

Step 2: Package

The way that Poshmark operates is that sellers should ship their items within 2 days (and MUST by 5 days) of making the sale. This means that it is your job to locate your item quickly and package it correctly. Check out specific details for shipping electronics here. If you are selling anything other than electronics on Poshmark, you shouldn't use any other shipping materials than the Free Priority Shipping Materials. Besides Express, you can use any other USPS Priority shipping supplies including Flat Rate (check out our blog about which USPS free shipping supplies we like the best!). Just make sure that you do NOT use Priority Express Materials. The easiest way to tell the difference? The coloring:

Step 3: Label and Ship

The last step is to label and ship. You can print the label from the email Poshmark sent you by using your own label printer, or on a regular printer and cut / tape it to the box. If you don't have a printer, don't worry! You can go to your local post office, show them the QR code, and they can print the label for you. Then, you simply mail the package! You can do so from your own mailbox, bring it to the post office, or now the post office is offering free package pickup which you can learn about here.

That is how you ship on Poshmark! Remember to keep packages at 5 lbs or under, and you are good to go!

Happy reselling!
